The benefits of battery electric equipment in underground mining are undeniable – they are proven to be more energy, cost efficient and productive than their diesel equivalents. However, implementing new technologies is not straightforward and requires new kind of expertise and change management, and there are also new aspects that needs to be understood and addressed.
