Nuclear Decommissioning: Nuclear Decommissioning: International Perspectives
Overview
More than forty nuclear reactors – around ten percent of the operating nuclear fleet – have permanently shut down since 2017. This year will see Germany close its three remaining nuclear plants, with dozens more reactors expected to close in Europe, the US and Asia by 2030.
This virtual event aims to share some of the technical developments, innovations and lessons learned from decommissioning and radioactive waste management projects around the globe. It will include insight on decommissioning strategy and plans from power plant operators as well as those responsible for clean-up of hazardous legacy sites. Delegates will also hear from key industry players on emerging technologies to support the decontamination, decommissioning and radioactive waste management industry.
Presentations, case studies and live Q&A sessions will bring the latest progress and innovations in the nuclear decommissioning sector straight to your desktop.
